what every one of us does

meant to explain phenomena
that no one can explain

it’s safe to say that something
happened long ago
that awoke within us
an ability to know

and whether it’s a blessing
a curse or a bit of both
depends on your perspective
and depends on how you go

what happens after this
is reality a mask
all questions return to
the fact that we can ask
